When and where do you meet?

Park Rapids MOPS meets every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month (September 15 through May 5) from 8:45-11am at Faith Baptist Church, located on HWY 71 South, Park Rapids.

Is Childcare Provided?

YES! MOPPETS consists of children from infancy through kindergarten and offers children a chance to learn to separate from their moms and make some new friends along the way! The little ones are being cared for in a loving environment providing age appropriate activities while their moms are enjoying their morning. Children are divided into classrooms and grouped by age. They enjoy stories, games, crafts, and singing. If you are needed for any reason, you will be given a pager, or a MOPPETS worker will notify you. MOPPETS volunteers help shape the future through their input of Christian love and teaching. Dividing the children into age groups allows each child to socialize and make lasting friendships within groups of similar skill and interst level.

What do we do?

At MOPS, we provide a friendly and fun place for mothers: a morning out to meet with other moms, relax, share some stories, advice, laughter and encouragement in this rewarding, but sometimes tough time in our lives. A typical MOPS meeting includes a delcious brunch and conversation and fabulous speakers. Topics might include sibling rivalry, parenting preschoolers, spring makeovers, home-making or making the best of familial relationships. Sometimes a small, fun creative activity will be created by each mom to take home. At each meeting, there is plenty of time for small discussion groups to interact, thus deepening friendships and growing spiritually.
